Jamco Corporation appoints new senior executives

Jamco Corporation has appointed new senior executives.

The appointments include executive chair Kate Schaefer and chief executive officer Masaru Morimoto, effective August 1, 2025. Schaefer is currently a senior advisor to Bain Capital and has over three decades of leadership experience, most recently as a senior vice president at Boeing Global Services, along with international senior executive roles at Moog, HEICO Aerospace and AAR.

“We see great potential to transform Jamco into a platform through future acquisitions in widebody cabin interiors,” commented Schaefer.

Morimoto formerly served as CEO of Showa Aircraft Industrial, a Bain Capital portfolio company. Prior to that he was the CEO of Delta Airlines Japan. He said the company will continue its “transformation journey while pursuing bold new growth opportunities”.

In addition, Bret Bolkcom joins Jamco as chief commercial officer after nearly 15 years at Boeing. He most recently served as senior director, commercial modifications at the US OEM.

Sanjeev Sen will join as chief operating officer, while Koichi Tsunematsu will continue leading Jamco's transformation as executive vice president.

The company said the appointments mark a “new chapter” for Jamco following its acquisition by Bain Capital and its delisting from the Tokyo Stock Exchange earlier this year.
