Japan Airlines (JAL) has posted 11.4% growth in net profit, rising to JPY150.81 billion yen ($1.35 billion) from JPY135.4 billion during the same period last year.
Sales for the group increased to 7.5% to JPY1.49 trillion, while revenue from its international flight business increased 14.6% with international passengers rising 6.3% to JPY9.13 million due to a growing number of inbound tourists to Japan.
JAL's revenue from its domestic flight business was up 1.9%.
