With the Israel-Gaza conflict heightening and the death roll continuing to rise, airBaltic has decided to suspend all flights to and from Tel Aviv. The cancellations will run until March 31, 2024.
airBaltic said in a statement that the suspension is “due to the uncertainty related to the current situation in Israel.”
It added: “the safety and security of passengers, employees and flights is the main priority of airBaltic. The airline remains in close contact with national and international authorities. Thus, the company is flexible and ready to adjust its flight schedule as necessary.”
The situation is especially volatile with fears that the conflict will spill over into other parts of the Middle East.
