Icelandic airport operator Isavia on May 17 reported its website was taken down for about two hours by a cyber attack.
The so-called DDoS attack saw excess traffic generated, rendering the website, which provides flight information for the country's airports, inaccessible to users.
The Icelandic company said its technicians managed to fend off the attack and revive the site. It apologised to passengers for any problems caused by the outage.
