Iran Aseman Airline, Iran’s third largest carrier, affiliated to the Civil Servants Pension Organization, is planning initial public offering.
"We are sorting out requirements for entering the stock market, namely enhancing transparency of the company's present and future plans plus our conditions compared with the other airliners," Mehdi Qaderi, CEO, was quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency yesterday. “The company is planning to purchase five Boeing 737s next year,” a statement read. The question is from whom? Iran Air, Kish Airlines, Iran Airtour and Mahan Airlines all previously announced IPO plans but it did not go off.
