A HESA IrAn-140 turboprop operated by Sepahan Airlines has crashed shortly after departure from Tehran’s Mehrabad airport.
Local media reported that the aircraft carried 48 passengers, 38 of which are believed to have died.
The IrAn-140 is a locally built variant of the Antonov An-140, and is assembled under licence by HESA in Isfahan.
