The authorities have launched an investigation on the matter of London City Airport website hacking. On the morning of Sunday, May 28, London City Airport's website was briefly hacked for a few hours. The cyberattack disabled the web page and displayed an error message to anyone trying to access the site.
Although the issue was resolved within a few hours the question of cyberbreach and data security has raised its head.
The pro-Russian NoName Hackers Group claimed credit for the attack, leading to further fears surrounding the infiltration of the airport's website.
In the last year, the NoName organization have been spreading panic across the globe with cyberterrorism. Although the attacks have not caused severe damage, it's enough to arouse panic.
Most importantly, the London City Airport's operations were not affected by the incident, and airport authorities insist that everything has returned to usual and that an investigation is underway.
