An Air France flight bound for Miami from Paris Charles de Gaulle was forced to make an emergency landing after one of its passengers became ill, showing signs of a drug overdose. The 747-400 diverted to St John's, NL in Canada, where the passenger was taken to a local hospital. The aircraft was allowed to depart in under two hours and reached Miami with a three hour delay.
