Electrofuels manufacturer Infinium has brought its first commercial-scale electrofuels facility online in Corpus Christi, Texas; the world’s first fully operational eFuels facility. Known as Project Pathfinder, the plant integrates Infinium’s patented catalysts to create renewable power (including eSAF) from captured CO2 and green hydrogen.
“As both a technology innovator and a project developer, we have end-to-end control of the eFuels production process,” explained Infinium CEO Robert Schuetzle. “This gives us a constant feedback loop that enables us to rapidly accelerate additional projects and scale our global production of eFuels”.
Infinium has controlled the construction and commissioning of the project to start to finish and is responsible for all operations and maintenance. The company also currently has more than a dozen additional projects under development across the US, Europe, Japan and Australia.
