IndiGo has launched its new business product for some domestic routes. IndiGo Stretch will be made available on India's ""busiest and business routes"".
""With India’s soaring economy and the evolving aspirations of the Indian society, we believe it’s time for IndiGo to redefine business class in India, increasing availability of this service for the nation,"" said IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers.
The Stretch cabin will feature 12 seats in a 2-2 configuration. It will launch on sale from August 6, 2024, on the Delhi-Mumbai sector. The flights featuring the new business product will operate from mid-November. The airline added: ""This will be followed by a gradual scale-up and product will operate on most of the Metro-to-Metro routes, with all 12 routes expected to be served by the end of 2025, twelve months after introduction.""
The airline partnered with RECARO Aircraft Seating to equip its A321neo business cabins.
In addition, it has launched its loyalty programme, IndiGo BluChip in conjunction with the release of its business product offering.
