India-based budget airline IndiGo has partnered with iPlanet, an Apple authorised partner, to allow members of its BluChip loyalty programme to earn rewards on purchases of Apple products.
Under the agreement, customers can earn up to 30 BluChips for every INR100 spent on Apple devices, including iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, Apple Watches and accessories. The offer applies across iPlanet’s online platform and its network of more than 78 retail stores in India.
The airline said the partnership expands the scope of its BluChip programme beyond travel, allowing members to accumulate rewards through lifestyle and technology spending.
Neetan Chopra, chief digital and information officer at IndiGo, said the collaboration was designed to offer “high value benefits” and enable customers to earn rewards outside their flight activity.
Raakesh Ramanand, managing director of iPlanet, said the partnership would combine premium technology with loyalty incentives, allowing IndiGo customers to make purchases “more rewarding and experience-driven”.
