IndiGo continues its domestic and international expansion with the launch of new routes. On the domestic front, the airline will commence direct daily connectivity between Delhi and Belagavi starting October 5, 2023. This route will enhance the point-to-point connectivity between north and south India.
Commenting on the launch, Vinay Malhotra, head, global sales, IndiGo, said: “We are pleased to announce new direct flights between Belagavi and Delhi, providing a seamless connection between the two cities... We continue to deliver on our promise of providing affordable, on-time, courteous, and hassle-free travel experiences across an extensive network for our valued customers.”
Internationally, the airline is planning to resume Delhi-Hong Kong route starting October 5, 2023. “These flights are tailored to cater to the escalating travel and trade demands between India and Hong Kong, providing customers with an extended range of flight options to enhance accessibility and facilitate seamless travel,” the airline said in a statement.
“We are delighted to reintroduce our daily direct flights connecting Delhi and Hong Kong, starting this October. The Asia-Pacific region has witnessed a remarkable resurgence in air travel demand and passenger traffic over the past few months, signalling a vibrant rebound. We will continue to enhance international connectivity and remain committed to our promise of providing on-time, affordable, courteous, and hassle-free travel experiences to our customers across our wide network,” added Malhotra.
The airline also launched Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh as the 80th domestic and 112th overall destination with daily direct flights between Varanasi and Khajuraho and one-stop daily connectivity between Delhi-Khajuraho via Varanasi starting October 10, 2023.
Last week, IndiGo further added Jaisalmer, Rajasthan as its 81st domestic and 113th overall destination with new and daily connections between Jaisalmer-Delhi, Jaisalmer-Mumbai, Jaisalmer-Jaipur and Jaisalmer-Ahmedabad starting October 12, 2023.
