IndiGo announced codeshare connections to Sofia and Varna, via Istanbul, effective from April 17, 2023. With this codeshare IndiGo will now connect to 16 European countries.
The 20 weekly connections will now offer multiple options and access to Bulgaria during the upcoming holiday season. IndiGo had previously launched connecting flights to 15 countries in Europe through its codeshare with Turkish Airlines.

With the addition of this route through Turkish codeshare, IndiGo now connects to 32 destinations in Europe. The flights to these destinations will cater to both business and leisure travellers seeking affordable flying options along with boosting the airline’s domestic connectivity, IndiGo said in a release.
