Icelandair begins upgrading its 757 fleet to STG Aerospace’s next generation safTglo system

STG Aerospace has announced that Icelandair has begun upgrading its Boeing 757 fleet with the next generation safTglo photoluminescent, emergency floorpath marking system, SuperSeal UltraLite (SSUL).

Currently, all of Icelandair’s 757 aircraft are equipped with the safTglo SuperSeal Lite (SSL) system but now, following the granting of EASA approval in December last year, the airline has selected SSUL for the latest four aircraft additions to the fleet and plans to retrofit  existing planes  later this year for scheduled cabin upgrades on existing planes.
