Iberia is testing a telemetry system for refueling fuel trucks at Madrid-Barajas Airport T4, which monitors engine running time and distance travelled to give a real-time basis for computing fuel consumption and needs. The data collected will be used to help reduce fuel consumption by 5% and reduce CO2 emissions by 520 tonnes a year.
