Aviation consultancy IBA Group has established a representative office in California, as it aims to expand its presence in North America.
In addition to the office opening, Phil Seymour, CEO of IBA, is also welcoming Claudio Salazar as regional sales manager, Americas.
Commenting on the developments, Seymour said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our US office, which will build on our strategic plan for increased growth in North America through a local presence, and to welcome Claudio to our team.
“Our focus will initially be on promoting our data intelligence platform IBA.iQ, as well as our asset management, valuation, advisory and technical inspection services. Claudio’s experience within the aviation sector will certainly facilitate this move for IBA and we look forward to further expanding our remit throughout the Americas.”
In his new role, Salazar will be responsible for heading commercial business development. His primary focus will be strategic market development of IBA’s digital and data services in North & South America, as well as facilitating growth across IBA’s asset management, appraisal & advisory services divisions.
He joins from aviation and analytics firm Cirium, where he spent over six years as a member of the Americas senior sales team with roles in business development across its core product and bespoke aviation advisory services portfolio.
