Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has launched its Global Control Centre (GCC) system developed to manage and monitor aircraft conversion programs.
The in-house developed system will allow the conversion process to be presented in real-time to customers. It is managed at IAI's control and monitoring centre.
""We expect the system will have a great impact on our activities, both internally and externally, first in the aviation sector and then in other IAI activities,"" said IAI CEO Boaz Levy.
IAI aviation group VP and GM Shmuel Kuzi said: ""Now fully operational, we anticipate a reduction in the working time on each aircraft and to improve the response to our customers while allowing new customers to share in the success and enjoy IAI’s converted freighters.""
