Hunt & Palmer have appointed Karen Farquharson as Director of Business Development.

Farquharson brings over 20 years of charter airline experience including her most recent role in senior management with XTRA Airways. After a successful career in retail management, Farquharson joined Miami Air International initially as a Flight Attendant and Purser before being promoted to senior VIP In-Flight Coordinator handling some of the airline’s most high profile and demanding clientele. She was then tapped to become the global face of Miami Air, serving as Marketing Manager and representing the company globally. During her airline career Karen gained expertise in every facet of airline operations, sales, marketing and product delivery.
Farquharson is also renowned within the travel industry as an advocate and leader having long been an active participant of FICP, MPI and many prestigious industry associations. She is a Past-President of Site (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence) Florida & Caribbean chapter.
