Humo Air returns two leased A320s to Fly2Sky
Humo Air has returned two A320s to Belgian lessor Fly2Sky, reports kuz.un, with the Uzbekistan low-cost airline temporarily pausing domestic services ahead of the launch of international flights with new aircraft from the lessor in April. Humo Air’s use of the A320-200s commenced in December 2023, with Fly2Sky describing the aircraft as ‘a pivotal asset in supporting Humo Air’s operations during the lease term, which spans from December [2023] till March of [2024]’. At the end of February 2024, Humo Air confirmed in a statement that it had commenced ‘the process of redesigning and restructuring’ of the airline ahead of ‘the imminent launch of international destinations on short and long-haul routes’. “In April 2024, we will open international destinations, keep airfares low and do everything we can to make people fly more often,” said a Humo Air representative.
