Hybrid electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft developer Horizon Aircraft has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Chilean helicopter operator Discovery Air Chile to lease five Cavorite X7 eVTOLs. Deliveries are projected for 2028.
“The Cavorite X7 is expected to transform the speed, flexibility, and cost to transport people and critical goods,” said Discovery Air Chile general manager Alvaro Gonzalez.
Horizon Aircraft CEO and cofounder Brandon Robinson commented: “This agreement with Discovery Air Chile marks a significant milestone for Horizon Aircraft as we further expand our international footprint into South America.”
