Hong Kong Airlines recently celebrated its inaugural flight to Phuket marking the launch of its third route this year. Celebrations were held at both Hong Kong International Airport and Phuket International Airport, to commemorate the official launch of the route
The four weekly Phuket service strengthens the airline’s presence in Thailand and reaffirms its commitment to expanding the regional markets and offering more choices for travellers.
Jeff Sun, President, Hong Kong Airlines said: “As the largest island in Thailand, Phuket is widely regarded as one of the most enduring holiday hotspots. We are thrilled to add this vacation paradise to our expanding regional network, allowing more connection services and convenient travel options. Hong Kong Airlines aspires to become the airline of choice for Thai and international travelers seeking to travel between Hong Kong and Thailand."
The airline will deploy its Airbus A320 on the route, with a capacity for 174 passengers, allowing the airline to carry estimated 696 passengers to Phuket weekly.
