Honeywell International is the largest C919 supplied and a commemoration ceremony in Beijing last month of its founding in 1906, Honeywell Aerospace Asia Pacific president Briand Greer said the company will continue to use its state-of-the-art technology to create and improve aeronautic technology and services for its partners.
In February this year, Honeywell signed an agreement with Air China to expand on-board Wi-Fi services, Greer stated, adding that the company has begun testing Air China's A330 fleet. The company plans to contacts with more Chinese partners for talks about "future cooperation plans" on the mainland.
In 2013, Honeywell generated sales of US$2.3 billion in the Chinese market alone. The company predicts that China will purchase a total of 5,580 units of aircraft between 2012 and 2023.
