Supreme Court refuses to deny increase in ground handling charges

Hawaiian Airlines said yesterday that its traffic rose 14.8% in June Traffic, measured as revenue passenger miles, rose to 857.2 million, from 746.6 million in June 2010. Capacity was up by 16.3% to 1.01 billion available seat miles, from 869.1 million a year earlier. Load factor fell 0.6 % to 84.8% on the back of increased capacity.
Shares of the airline’s parent, Hawaiian Holdings Inc., rose 18 cents, or 3.1 percent, to close at $5.95.
