HAWAIIAN AIRLINES TAKES DELIVERY OF A330-200

Hawaiian Airlines has taken delivery of an Airbus A330-200 from AWAS yesterday. This is the second aircraft of this type to be delivered to the airline this year.

The aircraft will initially operate on routes to the US and in April 2011 it will start rotations to Japan and South Korea.

“Leasing brand new aircraft allows our customers to both increase efficiencies and improve the travel experience for passengers. Hawaiian’s signature is its outstanding quality of service and we are proud that this AWAS A330-200 will form part of a fleet that is second to none.” said Ray Sisson, president & CEO of AWAS. “We aim to support the continued renewal and enhancement of our customers’ fleets through a strong pipeline of new aircraft joining our portfolio over the next five years.”
