Flybe, Europe's largest regional airline, has announced that sales for half term week in the UK are currently up by 6% over the same time last year. Demand remains strong on its popular London Gatwick services.
Mike Rutter, Flybe's Chief Commercial Officer, Flybe, stated yesterday: "We're pleased to report increased sales over this half term especially given the current economic uncertainty. Our combination of low fares and regional accessibility means that families wanting affordable breaks have the opportunity to do so."
Flybe's sales overall have been driven by a number of recent promotions such as 50% off selected Winter 2010-11 routes and two for one ticket offers for Spend & Fly credit card applicants.
