From September 12, Hainan Airlines will commence its first ever flights to Australia, linking Sydney with Changsha, the capital of China’s Hunan province. Flights will operate twice a week, departing Changsha’s Huanghua International Airport every Monday and Friday and returning from Sydney the next morning. Two days later, the carrier will launch twice weekly flights between Sydney and Xi’an. Both routes will be served by a 260-seat Airbus A330.
