Hainan Airlines has chosen the CFM International CFM56-5B engine to power its 42 Airbus A320 aircraft. The deal includes long-term maintenance agreement. Deliveries of the A320s will start in 2012.
The airline has also signed a long-term rate-per-flight-hour agreement to provide maintenance services for the CFM56 engines in the airline’s fleet.
