The Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (Haeco) and the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) have threatened to seize a 747-400 (msn 26548) belonging to Orient Thai Airlines for non-payment of MRO and parking fees at Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok.
The aircraft was ferried to Hong Kong in March to undergo maintenance, which began until the airline failed to complete the full payment. The aircraft is now parked on the ramp at Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok without engines.
