Gulf Air extends CFM LEAP-1A services agreement

Gulf Air has extended its services agreement with CFM International on June 18, 2025. The services agreement covers CFM LEAP-1A engines powering 29 A320neo family aircraft. 

The agreement covers a range of services from engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), as well as spare parts. The also includes the purchase of additional spare engines.

Gulf Air operates eight A320neo family aircraft and nine on order. 

“This agreement will enable us to secure MRO capacity for our fleet and maintain our growth,” said Gulf Air Group CEO Jeffrey Goh. 

“With this agreement, we will continue to provide Gulf Air with the best CFM standards in support, reliability, and utilisation for its LEAP fleet,” commented CFM International CEO and president Gael Meheust.
