GTLK Europe liquidators expand fleet sales process
The joint liquidators of GTLK Europe are continuing with the sale of its fleet, the latest the launch of a sales process for an A321-211 aircraft located in Europe. The aircraft was formerly leased to Russian airline Aeroflot. GTLK Europe notes that the aircraft will be sold in “as is, where is” condition for outright sale. IBA has been appointed as the exclusive remarketing agent for this aircraft. The sales process is expected to conclude by September 2024. “We have made strong progress since the start of the year in realising the value of GTLKE assets on behalf of creditors as part of the ongoing liquidation process,” said Damien Murran & Julian Moroney, Teneo Restructuring Ireland, the joint liquidators to GTLK Europe & GTLK Europe Capital. “The sale of this aircraft combined with other asset sales, including live and upcoming processes, underpin the impact and pace of the enablement phase in working with regulators to navigate the liquidation following our appointment last year. We look forward to bringing more assets to market over the coming months.”
