Greenland Express Air to fly to Denmark and Iceland

With a Fokker 100 on wet lease from Denim Air due for delivery in late May, Greenland Express Air plans to fly between Denmark, Greenland and Iceland from June 2.

The flight crew, ops and maintenance provider by Denim Air will be taken over by Greenland Express Air “at a later time”, the start-up airline said in a statement.

“With its 100 seats, the aircraft is both comfortable and extremely reliable with a sound operating economy. Because of this, we are able to offer ticket fares considerably below the present market price and, at the same time, offer our passengers a high service standard, including meals served onboard, excellent leg room and our own inflight magazine,” Greenland Express Air CEO Gert Brask said.
