GOAL Aircraft Leasing has appointed Vicente Pons as its managing director.
The company made the announcement via LinkedIn.
“With about 31 years of work experience and 28 years of strong track record in aviation, Vicente brings fresh perspective and strategic vision that will be instrumental in driving our company's growth and innovation,” the company read in its post.
He previously served as Aviation Capital Group managing director, aircraft financing solutions for a year. He has also served in managing director roles for companies such as MUFG, DVB Bank, as well as executive vice president for LR AirFinance.
The company's co-managing director Christian Schloemann said: “[Pons'] extensive expertise and visionary approach align perfectly with our commitment to growth and innovation.”
Schloemann has served as managing director of the company since 2007.
