Dublin-based aircraft leasing company AMCK Aviation has launched its operations.
The new company is utilising the established leasing platforms of Accipiter and MCAP and has 145 aircraft, with a total value of $6 billion, under management – and a further 30 committed aircraft, including an order book with Airbus.
AMCK Aviation is set to deliver long term stability for its customers and partners across the full aircraft and economic cycle, the global lessor said.
Paul Sheridan, chief executive officer, AMCK Aviation, commented: "I am delighted to announce the launch of AMCK Aviation today. It is the culmination of many months of hard work from the AMCK team and enables us to provide a significantly streamlined and strengthened platform for our customers and suppliers.
"Our global team of highly experienced professionals together with our young, predominantly narrowbody fleet and our order book with Airbus, ensures AMCK Aviation is able to support our customers’ needs today and for many years to come."
AMCK’s fleet of owned and operated aircraft serve 39 lessees in 24 jurisdictions.
While headquartered in Dublin, AMCK Aviation also has regional offices in Tokyo, Japan and Irvine, USA.
