Global Engine Maintenance (GEM) India has announced that it will implement a new suite of next-generation Aviation Software provided by Ramco Systems.
In a statement, Ramco said its software solution will enable GEM India to digitally manage the engine to used serviceable material (USM) cycle, ensuring faster turnaround times, improved material availability, enhanced traceability and regulatory compliance.
The software includes modules for engineering and tech; maintenance; MRO contracts; pricing, billing and parts sales; supply chain management, and finance and accounting.
A specialised solution for engine MRO operations will provide end-to-end visibility of operations and supply chain, automate compliance and audit readiness, and integrate finance with operations, Ramco said.
Additional tools such as the Engine Visit Hub and the Ramco Anywhere mobile apps, designed for mechanics and warehouse staff, offer real-time dashboards that will help GEM India to improve process efficiencies, enhance productivity, and achieve paperless operations.
James Ranjith Jeyakumar, general manager of GEM India, said: “We were looking for a solution provider who could not only streamline our operations but also lay a scalable foundation to support our future expansion into full engine overhaul services.
“Ramco Aviation Software stood out with its deep engine MRO capabilities, end-to-end integration and ability to manage the complete engine lifecycle.”
GEM India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Engine Maintenance USA, a provider of CFM56-7B/-5B/-3 MRO solutions.
