Global AirParts, the provider of used, serviceable materials for Sikorsky S76 helicopters, has announced that a shipment of three AS365N3 Dauphin helicopters for part out will arrive this month.
“With the collapse in demand for helicopters worldwide, many oil and gas helicopters have been forced into retirement and will never fly again. Often, the maintenance costs of refurbishment exceed the value of a working asset. We extract value from these airframes by harvesting useable components and offering them for sale, exchange or rental to other operators,” said Mike Pirang, founder and CEO of Global AirParts.
For more than a decade, Global AirParts has provided used, serviceable materials to support the S76 and other aircraft types.
“Dauphin parts are valuable to operators worldwide, and Global AirParts can help bring lower
operating costs to the market by disassembling these aircraft using our proprietary systems and processes,” noted Trish Meader, Vice President of Sales.
Global Air Parts continues to expand its service offerings and recently added the AW139 to its product mix.
