Ground services crew employed by Menzies Aviation at Glasgow airport have accepted a new one-year pay deal which will boost pay packages by 6.8%.
A statement from Unite says: ""Over 200 workers including dispatchers, allocators, airside agents and controllers have overwhelmingly accepted the Menzies Aviation pay offer, which increases basic pay by 6 per cent.
""The agreement will be backdated to January this year, and it follows an increase on last year’s deal with Menzies which had increased basic pay by up to 11 per cent when inflation had peaked.
""The agreement includes a rise in overtime pay, an enhancement to sick pay eligibility and an unsociable hours supplement"".
