GetJet Airline welcomes its first A321 aircraft

GetJet Airlines recently took delivery of its first A321 as a part of its plan to expand capacity and strengthen its ACMI operations in the region. The aircraft is 19.6-year-old jet and previously operated by several carriers, including Iberia, rival ACMI/charter carrier Avion Express, Thomas Cook Airlines, Onur Air, and Avion Express Malta.

Commenting on the addition of the A321, chief executive Rūta Kulvinskaitė, said: "The diversity within our fleet, encompassing different aircraft types, along with our readiness to modify aircraft according to our clients' requests, enables us to uphold our promise of quality and flexibility. The addition of the Airbus A321 further expands our capacity and solidifies our dedication.”

“Our ability to rapidly offer replacement aircraft with a full crew in unforeseen circumstances sets us apart as one of the few airlines in the region. Even during the most demanding periods, our commitment to our clients remains unwavering — to deliver tailor-made services customized to their specific needs,” Kulvinskaite added.

The newly delivered jet features single-class seating and can accommodate 220 passengers.

GetJet currently has a total of 11 aircraft in its fleet at an average age of 18.1 years.
