GERMAN AIRLINE PILOTS CALL A STOPPAGE OVER STALLED WAGE AGREEMENTS

Pilots from Germania and Tuifly called a work stoppage yesterday morning in protest over stalled wage negotiations.

The stoppage was called by Cockpit, the pilots’ union. Cockpit said it had called on 700 pilots to join the protest. Some 11 Tuifly flights were affected yesterday as pilots walked out between 5am and 8am, while at Germania flights were affected during the 13-hour strike by pilots who walked out between 5am to 6pm.
