Dublin-based aircraft leasing company Genesis has appointed Peter O’Byrne to the newly-created position of chief commercial officer, effective immediately. In this new role, he will lead the execution of the business’ commercial strategy.
Genesis CEO Karl Griffin explained he was “delighted” to appoint O’Byrne to the position, adding: “Peter’s excellent leadership skills and deep industry experience, built up over the last 15 years, will ensure Genesis continues to build on our success to date”.
Genesis currently serves 32 customers in 21 countries worldwide with a portfolio of 55 managed and committed narrowbody aircraft. It celebrates a decade of being in business this year, having been established in 2014 by global finance service firm Barings.
