GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced it delivered two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Indonesia’s Lion Air as part of a purchase and leaseback transaction.
The aircraft from the airline’s existing order book with Boeing were delivered in May and July and will be used to expand and modernize the airline’s fleet.
PT Lion Mentari Airline is Indonesia’s largest private airline with a fleet of more than 80 aircraft and passenger service to more than 60 destinations.
