GE Aerospace has announced a deal with AJW Group to support avionics and electrical power systems across the Boeing 777, 737 and Airbus 320/30/40 ranges of aircraft.
"The contract will start this year and will cover all AJW Group’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) customers", GE said, adding that the work will be done at its repair facility in Cheltenham in the UK.
GE said some of the systems to be covered are electrical load management, flight management and data control display units.
“We are committed to supporting our MRO [maintenance, repair, overhaul) customers growing demands,” said John Haigh, electrical power and controls leader at Cheltenham for GE Aerospace.
“We are pleased to be collaborating with GE Aerospace on avionics and electrical power systems for B777, B737 and A320/30/40 family of aircraft,” said Barry Swift, senior vice president operations at AJW Group.
