GA Telesis has acquired eight PW4000 engines for disassembly and redistribution, the company said on January 22, 2025.
“As the global fleet of PW4000-powered aircraft continue to return to service, GA Telesis is strategically positioned to lead the procurement and redistribution of these assets, offering our customers exceptional cost efficiencies and high-quality support throughout their maintenance cycles,” said GA Telesis' Flight Solutions Group (FSG) chief operations officer Alex Tuttle.
FSG facilitated the purchase and will manage the teardown and redistribution. Following the disassembly and repair, the resulting used serviceable materials (USM) will be made available to GA Telesis' airline and MRO customers over the coming months.
