Further resignation takes place at troubled carrier Jet Airways

Robin Kamark, a representative of Etihad Airways, has resigned from the board of troubled carrier Jet Airways - becoming the third director to quit in a week.

Kamark's resignation leaves Jet Airways with only two members on its board - which requires a minimum of three members.

The departure of Kamark, comes just days after Jet Airways' chief executive officer Vinay Dube resigned with immediate effect.

Dube’s departure came on the same day chief financial officer and deputy-CEO Amit Agarwal quit.

The grounded carrier seized all flights on mid-April after it said it was unable to pay for fuel or other critical services to keep the operations going.

Etihad owns 24% of Jet and is entitled to two board seats.
