Frontier Airlines has started seasonal nonstop flights from Chicago, Denver and St. Louis to Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay.
"As Denver’s hometown airline, we are proud to be celebrating a milestone as the only airline to connect the Mile High City with nonstop service to Jamaica," said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines, which flies to 67 destinations from Denver.
sThe Montego Bay route is the seventh the low-cost US carrier runs out of St. Louis, where people "appreciate the option to fly nonstop to popular Caribbean destinations like Jamaica," according to Shurz.
"It is exciting that Frontier begins seasonal non-stop service to Montego Bay from our airport," said St. Louis Lambert International Airport director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge.
Montego Bay is the 12th route Frontier operates from Chicago Midway Airport.
