Frontier Airlines signs Lufthansa Systems’ Lido mPilot for charting systems

Frontier Airlines signed a five-year contract with Lufthansa Systems for Lido mPilot to achieve maximum operational efficiency, safety, and stability. The airline already uses Lufthansa System’s Lido FMS since one and a half year.

Lufthansa claims that the Lido mPilot is designed to improve the pilots’ situational awareness, so that they can focus on safe and efficient aircraft operations.

“Frontier is pleased to partner with Lufthansa Systems’ Lido mPilot for charting systems. The mPilot product has developed substantially in the last several years and provides Frontier with an intuitive and user-friendly product at a significant saving, reinforcing our commitment to ‘Low Fares Done Right,’” said Brad Lambert, Vice President of Flight Operations, Frontier Airlines.

“We are proud to strengthen the relationship with our valued customer Frontier Airlines. Their selection of Lufthansa Systems underlines the quality and excellence of our products and services. We are pleased to support Frontier Airlines with our reliable and experienced IT solutions in their charting and navigational needs”, added Stefanie Neumann, CEO, Lufthansa Systems

Lido mPilot is an all-in-one charting application, offering easy access to terminal charts, a dynamically generated enroute map, an Airport Moving Map (AMM), as well as the required operational documents.
