Frontier Airlines announce robust winter schedule

Frontier Airlines announced its routes expansion for winter to popular vacation destinations mostly in the south. From east coast and Midwest to Caribbean and Mexico, the airline has announced a combination of new and returning nonstop service starting November and December 2023.

Frontier has announced new routes to popular vacation destinations, including Minneapolis to Cancun and Miami to Santo Domingo.

“We’re thrilled to expand our nonstop offerings across our network,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “Along with more routes to Florida, new service to Mexico and the Dominican Republic is also on the horizon. As we get closer to winter, now is the time to start planning those tropical getaways. Getting there is easier and more convenient than ever thanks to Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right.”

The airline will commence five routed from Fort Meyers to Detroit (DTW) and Syracuse (SYR) three times a week, Buffalo (BUF) up to four times a week, and Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) and Long Island (ISP), with a daily service. All the above routes will take off from November 16, except Buffalo, which takes flight on the 17.

Frontier will fly from Minnesota to Cancun (CUN), Mexico with thrice weekly flights starting November 16 along with Fort Meyers and Orlando.

The capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo (SDQ), will see two new services launch before the New Year, with Miami to the capital also launching on November 16th. A Philadelphia (PHL) service is also set to take flight from December 17th. Both operating three times a week.

Detroit and Chicago are also set to benefit from the ULCC's services for Mexico, with a daily service set to launch on November 16 from Chicago Midway (MDW) and Detroit (DTW).

Frontier also announced non-stop services from Cleveland (CLE) to Miami three times a week from November 16 and daily service to Sarasota from December 21. A new flight from Maryland will also connect Baltimore (BWI) to Tampa daily from mid-November.

The airline will launch thrice-weekly service connecting Ohio to Miami. The airline's flight from Chicago Midway to Cancun is still subject to regulatory government approval.
