Fraport AG's traffic figures reflect upscaling and collapsed Black Sea traffic

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) saw 28.9 million passengers from January to June 2015, 4.1% up on H1 2014. The average number of passengers per flight increased to 135.4. Accumulated maximum takeoff weights (MTOWs) grew by 3.3% to 14.4 million metric tons, while aircraft movements remained stable (up 0.2%) at 229,582 takeoffs and landings for the same period. FRA's cargo throughput (airfreight and airmail) declined by 1.8% to 1.04 million metric tons. In June 2015 FRA saw cargo (airfreight and airmail) fall by 2.5% year on year to 173,984 metric tons.

Fraport International Group airports reported as follows: Slovenia's Ljubljana Airport (LJU) saw a 9.7% increase in passenger traffic year on year for H1 to 626,525, June was up 17% on June 2014. Peru's Lima Airport (LIM) saw passenger traffic rise by 8.7% to 8 million passengers in the first six months of 2015 and by 8.4% year on year for June 2015 to 1.3 million. The Twinstar airports of Varna (VAR) and Burgas (BOJ) on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast experienced a 12.8% fall in passenger traffic for H1 2015 year on year to 948,519 passengers the airfields saw a 16.4% decline in June 2015 passenger traffic to 632,172 passengers. Antalya Airport (AYT) also saw traffic fall this time by 4.2% for H1 2015 to 10.5 million passengers and by 6.9% in June 2015 year on year to 3.6 million passengers.

Russia's St. Petersburg Airport (LED) saw a decline of 4.3% to 6.1 million passengers in H1 2015. LED's June traffic fell by 8.3% year on year to just under 1.5m.

Hanover (HAJ) saw passenger figures increase 5.3% for H1 2015, up 8% in June 2015 year on year. Xi'an Airport (XIY) in central China saw passengers increase by 15.3% in H1 2015 to 15.7m and was up 11.3% for June 2015 year on year.
