Garuda Indonesia has placed a firm order for four A330-300s and has also converted three previously ordered A330-200s into -300 models. No engine selection has yet been announced.
Airbus says the airline will use the aircraft on long-haul flights from Jakarta and Denpasar to Middle East and Asia/Pacific destinations.
Garuda currently operates seven leased A330-200s and six A330-300s.
