Fokker Services has won a three-year component management contract from Alliance Airlines to support its Fokker fleet, which comprises 18 100-seat F100s, two 75-seat F70LRs and five 50-seat F50 turboprops.
The Australian-based charter and wet-lease airline operates its Fokker fleet mainly on "fly-in, fly-out" air services for Australia’s resources industry from Brisbane, Townsville, Adelaide, Perth and Cairns. Under terms, Fokker Services will provide repair services on the basis of fixed price and turnaround time, ensuring predictability of cost and parts availability to Alliance.
Alliance and Fokker Services signed an MOU making Alliance a partner in the FLYFokker program, which provides Fokker operators with comprehensive life cycle support. Alliance offers F100 wet-lease services in the Asia/Pacific region.
Fokker Services has also been assisting Alliance with the fleet introduction of the two F100s and the two F70LRs it acquired in July, providing documentation, data, modifications and spares support.
