FlyHouse, an Arizona-based private jet charter company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sun Air Jets, a California-based aircraft management and charter operator.
In a statement, FlyHouse said the transaction will expand its maintenance, management and operational capabilities, as it continues to build a vertically integrated private aviation platform.
FlyHouse will acquire multiple super-mid and large-cabin aircraft, and will expand its owned and managed fleet, supplementing the more than 2,000 aircraft that are currently accessible through its global charter network.
In addition, FlyHouse will acquire hangar, ramp and support facilities at Van Nuys and Camarillo Airports in Southern California, including a fixed-base operator (FBO) at Camarillo.
The expanded footprint enables more efficient aircraft servicing, crew operations and client support across key West Coast locations, the company said.
The addition of Sun Air Jets' FAA-certified Part 145 MRO centre will provide FlyHouse with in-house MRO capabilities, enabling direct oversight of inspection, maintenance and component work.
The transaction also positions FlyHouse for international expansion by standardising maintenance, safety and operational procedures to meet European certification requirements and cross-border regulatory compliance.
Upon closing, more than 100 aviation professionals from Sun Air Jets will join FlyHouse.
